99000 miles on my 99 C2. Other than regular maintenance, plastic coolant tank needed to be replaced due to crack and alternator electrical connections needed to be cleaned for proper charging. I will be replacing dampers with Motons soon. Lastly, I like the front lights as per 911 GT1!

funny the first thing I did was changing the headlights, fenders and front and rear bumper! It is good that there is so much variety in styles and likes....makes this forum so much more colorful.

a lot of cars out there with low miles... overall i think the RMS/ Int Shaft problems are a bit overstated... perhaps the exception vs. the norm? also, the "problem" hasn't gone away with the MKII or the 997 even. i looked at a 2005 C2 last week that had the int shaft replaced at 25K miles...
hmmm... still haven't seen too many 996s over 100K miles though.... ????

Normal usage for a Pcar is considered to be 7k-9k miles per year, so even the 99 models should on average have only 60k-80k miles.
I have seen several daily driver early Boxsters well over 100k miles.

Plenty on this board have made the 100k mark with the 3.4L, I was one of them.
3 years ago when I was first looking for a 996, I saw a '99 cab for sale with 168,000 miles asking $40,000 on Autotrader.
200k miles with proper maintenance I believe, is very well acheivable.
