Default Possible New Wheels???

Hi all, I am thinking about pulling the trigger on a set of wheels. They are
19x8.5 et52 front and 19x10 et52 rear. Hubcentric fit. Any issues with this setup? what is the thickest tire I can put on these wheels without rubbing/fitment issues? (Car is a 1999 996 C4, stock suspension)

I found them on ebay, anyone dealt with eurotechwheels?

Thanks.

I hate to say it, but use the SEARCH function, this topic has been covered a countless number of times.

Never herad of eurotech.

They'll fit on your stock sus, you can go with a 245 up front and a 285 in the rear.

Thanks all for the reply. I want to get these as they are inexpensive and with the money i save, i want to paint the lip speed yellow (to match the body). i love that look.

Ben, i have read alot on these post and it looks like you are the expert on wheels. what is the thickest tire I put on these things? (looking for the close to the same ride as the stock 18s)

Thanks,

ultra, i am by no means an expert around fitment per se, but i've personally been thru enough that patience usually pays off.

there are so many sets of wheels i've gone thru... and at the end of the day, i ended up spending more continually upgrading to the wheels that i really really wanted in the first place by getting pos/cheap/inexpensive/budget wheels to substitute when there really isnt a substitute for quality wheels that truly fit.

"invest" in wheels brands that have spent the $ and R&D to design wheels specific to the 911. no ebay brand is going to fill these conditions. if you stick to the marquee brands like oz, champion, bbs, work, fikse, hre... companies like these will have wheels that not only fit great, but look proper on the 911 as well.

there are much better technical advisors here, i'm not one of them. i'm more of a sales guy. but if i had a narrowbody, i'd prob go for 8.5s up front and 11s in the rear. tire wise... i only know 19s. i have 8.5s up front on 235/35s and 12" 315/25s in the rear on my widebody pork4s. perfect fitment.

No. Wheels that fit the Turbo or C4S (both are wide body 911s) will not fit the narrow body C2 or your C4.
