Default 1st P-car, pics as promised

Here's my new 1999 C2. 6 speed, aftermarket Aero, very few options. Loaded with PERFORMANCE! 65K. Original engine. Black interior. Love it! And yes, I'm looking at wheels RIGHT NOW!

Congratulations - your car looks great! I agree new wheels would improve the look - pumpkinectomy is certainly in order. Now, get out there and (unlike me) drive it!!

Clean!

I like the taco wing... get rid of those pumpkin side markers and get some clear ones.

An aero kit car with the base wheels? I'm not sure I've ever seen one like that. Looks good...enjoy it!

That is absolutely gorgeous. Congrats, and enjoy it. They are a blast. This is just my opinion, but I like how the previous owner didn't change the orange markers. I like the original look. I know I'm in the minority here though.

WELCOME ABOARD!!! Congrats on your new toy. I've had mine for 8 months and love it more and more every day. Usually, more bore factor kicks in, but not even close yet. Have fun tweaking the looks of your car....it's a lot of fun.

Great pictures. Do you know where the aerokit came from?

Not sure where the aerokit is from, I thought it was factory when I first saw the car, but then found out it did not have the option code, and I had noticed some paintwork. Seems to be fiberglass, but fits well. Hope it serves it's intended purpose.
The amber poop lenses don't really bother me. I want some wheels, and a 3 spoke wheel first. Main thing I need to do is learn how to drive this thing! Looking very forward to a DE in this car. I've put maybe 80 miles or so in the last 2-3 weeks and I can feel the potential this car has- I am capable of driving it and running through the 6 speed, but far from masterful from it. That's part of the reason I got it- give me a driving challenge- learn how to REALLY drive!
Love it- never driven anything lke it! I was out with my wife test driving SUV's and tried it out- that was all it took! Turned into an obsession....then I got on here and had the pleasure of reading about RMS, IMS, etc etc, to make me feel confident!!!! The one response I saw every once in awhile about the issues was "it doesn't matter- it's worth the risk to get to enjoy these cars". So far, I completely agree!
I had already been looking into P-cars for about a year, but my choice was 944 Turbo Vs Boxster S, that it, until I drove a 996!
Thanks for the comments and welcomes, I'll be around quite awhile I think!

Awesome car. Would you be willing to share the option codes for your car? I'm especially interested in knowing what the code is for the factory aero kit. My aero kit appears to be fiberglass too - I would have guessed that it's supposed to be (factory or not).

Thanks in advance for the insight.
