Welcome to the club.

+1 on the getting spoiled for anything else. You're screwed for life now. The 996 is an especially nice driving Porsche IMO.

Don't be afraid to drive it, and do so in good health.

Arrow update

Thanks again all for the support!

Jasper, you were right, I've driven her to and from work every day until today. When I traded keys for 35k service, the one I got back went to a 4-runner. It's not a terrible car, but, like the poster says, there is no substitute. I am counting the hours till I'm back in my womb of speed.

Thanks again all! I'd like to do some track days, maybe a few autox's.

First things first: I'm getting set up with a conservative alignment, new tires, and eventually, a little more grippy steering wheel.

I can say now, nearly 10,000miles since purchase, the honeymoon hasn't ended with this nearly daily driver!

now with 46K miles on him, it may be time for a suspension upgrade. PSS9s and GT3 sways FTW. It is just so much tighter and will feel like a new car.
