Cary/Apex PCA members or Any Porsche Owners
I live in Apex, NC. Would anyone like to get together next Saturday for coffee and cars at the Bean & Bagel shop in Cary next Saturday?
I'm rarely able to attend the PCA Coffee gatherings on Saturday morning because it's a bit of a drive.
Let me know if you're interested.

You ever do the dinners? I've done a couple, don't recall seeing your car there?
I live in Cary, and hang out w/2 other friends who're club members quite often. We don't really follow non track related PCA events that closely though...

I haven't attended any of the club dinners yet. To be honest, I just don't know that many people in the club, and the last couple times at the Briar Creek Caribou has been a little disappointing - no parking, no seating, no opportunity to get to know anyone. But, I've been in three previous PCA chapters and had a great experience. So, that's why I proposed the coffee in Cary/Apex.
I'm open to meeting for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Time is a little tight from time-to-time - juggling work and family time. But, let's keep talking. I'm thinking of approaching a 928 owner and a Boxster owner in my subdivision and asking them too. I just returned from my usual weekend drive on Old Apex Hwy and Beaver Creek Rd. and saw a beautiful black '80s Targa Turbo - I might stop by there too.
I proposed Bean & Bagel because there is a huge parking lot in front of the place. One of my frustrations with Briar Creek Caribou is that if you're not among the first handful of Porsches to show up, you have to park farther away and out-of-sight.
I'll plan for 8:30-ish at Bean & Bagel next Saturday. If they're not open, we could also do Brueggers across the street. Let me know if you're coming so I'm not standing there feeling a little embarrassed.

Bean & Bagel is actually in Apex. 5404 Apex Peakway to be exact. It's next to a Lowe's grocery store.
If you are travelling in from 64 to 55 southeast (headed for Fuquay), you'll pass the Beaver Creek Commons shopping center (Panera, Office Max, QDoba, Panda Cafe) and it will be on your right about a 1/4 mile up the road.
As a reminder, I recommend this place b/c there is a huge parking lot right in front. Also, the bagels are great and they have all varieties of coffee. That being said, if there is another place with a large lot, I'm happy to try it.
Try this link. It gives a good representation of the Bean & Bagel.

Guys,
There is a great group meeting every Saturday morning in Brier Creek at Caribou Coffee. (Near RDU of Hgwy 79). Mostly local PCA, including track guys, 356 guys, 928 guys 911 guys, 986 guys... Very varied group, looser and more social than the dinner meetings. Try it out. starts around 8 on Saturdays. Feel free to PM me for any other details.
