Default Does anyone know "mopar"?

I am going to be PC as I possibly can about this. Just worried what may happen to someone one day because of this kid.

On Flat-6.net, there is a 13 year old kid (or so) who post on every thread no matter what the topic is and on every forum no matter what the model is. The funny thing is, is he is clueless about how to work on cars and does not own one.

I mean, just think, he gets onto a Porsche website and uses the handle "mopar"?!?!?

People will ask questions and he will provide answers, people take his advise and believe he is very knowledgeable due to his high post count.

On occasion, I have told him to stop giving bad advise as this could be detrimental to someone or their car, but members have told me to chill out and lay off of him. Fine. If you think RL is entertaining, Flat-6 is a lot more due to this kid's imagination.

Just wondering if anyone has seen his post or been a victim of his ill replies?

Never heard of him, although I doubt he'd get far here for 2 reasons:
i) We would hassle him into posting pics of his Porsche and if he didn't, then he'd be gone.
ii) If he talked BS we would let him know.

Sounds like that "Vancouver83LTD" character that posted here. He spent all of his time (mostly) in the 997 forum and was frequently called out for doing nothing other than repeating what others have said having no first hand knowledge of Porsche's ever so he was wrong frequently. I called him out a few times as well since it really chapped my **** when people would ask for serious TECHNICAL help and he would spout off inaccurate crap. Not good if somebody would take his advice and then screw up their car. Then he found his true calling, the OT forum when he was a paying member. Don't think he is a paying member anymore though.

Oh, I thought that's what you were saying, but I thought I was misinterpreting. Pretty funny.

Well, you know he is a kid by what he says but some have actually believed him and I stepped in. Kinda scary. Hell, all of us have given bad advise a time or two, but we at least know we did it and correct it. He just ventures on to another thread.

LOL, poor kid. I wonder if he will ever realize in the future he is treading into grown-up things he knows very little about.
