Using Dension IPOD Gateway 500 with the 996

How good is this unit? I am also interested in finding out if the bluetooth module (optional) shows the caller ID on the Nav screen with the Dension unit (for those who have Nav)

It sounds terrific. If you have a chance, organize your favorite music on your first 6 playlists, otherwise, it is a bit awkward to select specific songs/artists, etc.

What if you don't have nav, can you start playing without having to touch the ipod?
Also my system is pre-MOST.

Yes, Dension is applicable to all Porsches from model year '03 forward.
