It is that! By far the most powerful car I've ever owned. The TQ makes it feel faster than anything.

I got behind one of those the other week in my lancer and he punched it (on my private race track in Mexico, of course). I was surprised when I could only slowly creep up on him. I knew they were quick but didn't know they were that quick.

With regards to your auction: don't think your comment about it being a reserve auction will protect you as it won't. You're best off deleting the auction and relisting it. Good luck with the sale.

I owned an 03 E55. Can't question the 520 ft-lb of torque, even if the car weighs alot.

Good luck with the sale, it's a nice car.

Yeah, it's put plenty of hurt on many cars. I also just parted it out. It was making 550HP at the crank and 600TQ. It's was scary fast, like it was going to leave the ground. I must admit though because of the suspension it would get scary. It's not dialed in like a P-car in that part.

Yeah I thought that before. It just kind of happened. It was like Ultimate SUV, Ultimate Family Rocket, Ultimate Sports car with a Cab top. Life is good!

Thanks, For your help. I don't know what you have done to your lancer but I have raced many, from a dig and a slow roll, from there they were pretty quick. Once I would go into 3rd gear it was pretty much over. Those cars along with the Sti's are known to be quick but not fast. I do love them though, especialy the lancer. They look like japanesse warrior or something.

you better end the auction now or you are going to sell it for less than 40k!

With there being bids on it already, I'm not sure that he CAN end it this late.

I see it "sold" for $35,100...it'll be interesting to hear how this goes down.

I think it's all a matter of ebay policy. As a legal matter, his "this is not a no-reserve auction," is probably sufficient to prevent anyone from claiming it ended in a binding contract to sell. Anyone bidding would have had actual notice that the bid was subject to a reserve.

ebay, on the other hand, may have some pretty strict policies about reserves and withdrawals and the like, so they could impose some penalty if there's a bidder who thinks he's bought.

Stand by.

Here's how it's going go down. Someone is going to give me $41K for the car or I'm going to keep it. Negative feedback or not, the car is going no where for $35,100. You know what I mean?
