I usually do not keep cars more than 2 years, i'd say average of 1 year. Right Now i own a 02 Jetta VR6 (Daily Driver), 02 996 coupe, and I have a 03 M3 SMG conv. that i kept for a year and just sold to my brother, so the car is still in the family.

I sold my 997 at the time becuase i needed some cash. I should have kept it, but at the time, my circumstances did not allow. After my owning the M3, I wanted to get into a P-Car again. I kinda looked into 993s again, but the 996 are so much newer and comfortable. Now with the 996 turbos so cheap, its hard to resist supercar performance for under 60K.

I guess i could be wiser with my money and stay in cars for atleast 2-3 years instead of 1-2. I even sold my cars being in them for less than 8 months. But i guess you live once. I not marriend and do not have kids, so i kinda have a little extra disposable income. I should save more, but thats a different topic all togther.

No thanks!
Yup, that's where I am - more cost and more chance of me killing myself in a car that's way more capable than I am as a driver.
