Wow! Am I the only one who thinks that the 996s look super sexy in snow? It is as if they feel right at home being on the white stuff. Such a beautiful scene and they look so beautiful.

After all they are born in the Alps eh?

PS: Can't wait to pick my snow shoes this week.

Damn, that looks COLD! Now I am reminded of why I wasn't upset when we moved from Michigan to Texas at the start of my senior year in high school.

Nice vid. His exhaust seems pretty quiet.

Yep, his exaust is very quiet. Actually, my '99 Carrera with stock exhaust is much louder

Fun! I was in my nice warm garage on Saturday putting my exhaust on, enjoying Paul Brands auto talk. I'll be out tomorrow zipping around.

OK...it just pains me to see these beautiful cars in the snow...I know, I know...they can take it, but that doesn't make it right!

Fantastic pics anyway!

What an awesome driving day in Minneapolis on Tuesday. It's the first time I've had her out in snow and with snow tires I did better than 90% of the cars out there. It was amazing and here are a few shots!!!

Turbos are usually quieter cars than NA, the turbos are inline with the exhaust, therefore dampening the sound....

Checking out the other forums, I'm from the 911 and 951 board. This is real winter driving, the annual RMR region Ice Race on Georgetown lake in Colorado.

Cool, its to bad we don't have a forum to all hang out in and post pictures.
I don't mind seeing the other non 996 cars!

We don't get a lot of the white stuff around here, and it tends to be slushy. This is my 2002 shd with 17" twists and Blizzak LM25 snows. Handled like a dream.
