Default How to fix wheel rash?

(No response in the wheels forum ...)

The previous owner (not me I promise) caused a little curb rash on the rear wheels.
Since then the clear coat has started to peel and it looks just awful right now.
What can be done to these wheels?

I have the same issue as the last poster in that thread, my wheels have no paint on them now, just clear coat. It would look really weird to paint them silver.

Consider the first frame says there are services that will repaint the wheels for a reasonable price. I seem to recall about 150 bucks, including straightening.

There is a place out in Stockton that repairs wheels, I see there vans on highway 4 now and then. But I cannot locate any information on them though. I am sure there are other places around that can fix the wheel.
