Default cab with hard top on. wide body(C4S/TT) looks better than narrow body(C2/C4)

i always feel that when putting the hard top on the cab. the wide body ones (C4S/TT) look better than narrow body(C2/C4)

Any pics? I've only seen them on the narrow body.

I think the hard top looks equally "tacked-on" either width of 911. Of course, I think that's true of every convertible that wears a hard top, including the one in my driveway.

Speaking specifically of the 996, I think it's the C-pillar treatment of the hard top that bothers me.

Yeah, yeah, so I'm picky...that's why I drive a Porsche.

I think it's the existance of a B-pillar the 996 Coupe has that would bother me.

Considering that my coupe's driver-side B-pillar/door jamb area leaks water like a sieve these days, you might have the right idea.

I have a C2 but really prefer the look of the wide body better. I didn't have the $$ to get one. But I like the look of the coupe better than the cab. Just my preference.

I think it depends on the modifications,Techart, Gemballa,Type of wheels, tires, suspension, color, etc.
The extra 1/2" may be the world to one and to much to another, that is with the top on. The security of four wheel drive verses the extra kick of two. Just thank heaven they all don't look the same.
I almost forgot, I also am not feeling that B-pillar the 996 Coupe has.
