Default Hardtop Installed Right?

Hey guys, I just installed my hardtop this morning and is the first time I have seen one on my car. My question is this. Is the Hardtop suppose to overlap the side and rear of the body a little? It seems to be on correct and tight, but never noticed on others that it overhangs a little on the side and rear.

Thanks, Russ

There will also be what appears to be a gap along the rear, and that is entirely normal. I haven't put mine on yet for the winter, so I cannot comment on the overlap you mention (but it's probably normal).

Thanks all! I realize now it's correct. I must admit at first I was like that looks weird. Now that I've looked at the car a few times, it really looks sick with the hardtop on it.

can't imagine having to drive with the top up let alone in a coupe or cab with hardtop...you gota love Southern Cali....I can still remember those snowy, windy, rainy...dark NYC days.
I kind of like the hardtop look ....makes the cab special

Hardtop went on yesterday. As always, transforms and freshens the car a bit from summer driving.

I was driving w/the top down last night - beautiful night here - it was 39 degrees F out. A new low ( high? ).

The EZ way to install it.

That so beats the hard way, which is getting my wife to help me carry it up from the basement and down the stairs to the driveway, then lift with all her might to get her side over the back of the car.
