It was almost impossible to get a custom plate for our 911 because CA has arcane rules for letter/number combinations and all good ones taken. Finally we got a plate approved, then they sent a rejection letter saying the combination was in use, we appealed, and after about a year they finally sent us the below: California has number "1 SUN" in the nation!
The plate is really bright and colorful, perfect for a California cabriolet.
Love the plate; hope you don't mind that I copied you for mine. Can't wait to get the new plates in. Will have to meet up on one of my trips down south!
I was considering "RAD 991" or "MYRAD991" or "AWESM991".. kind of a spin on my growing up in the 80's. Something about using 911 in a plate feels in current cancel culture doesn't feel right to use anymore.
