Default oil separator leak ?

I have what was a slow drip once a few days into a more droplet type oil leak close to the left rear wheel and suspension.. I've read here that the Oil Separator can be the culprit." It is located on the driver side of the engine and close to the fire wall. A split or crack in this plastic piece will cause an oil leak. "

also a CEL came on as well.

Does anyone have the pat number or info so I can order this ? a resonable DIY ?
ANY info will help !

The oil seperator bellows might be cracked as well. From what I understand you have to drop the engine for a tip to get to the O/S

redridge...here is some info from Renntech. If its just the bellows i'll not have to drop the motor.

Going to get a code reader tonight.

I doubt the separator would crack but the bellows sure could crack, they are made of a very, very soft rubber.

Tippy I think you are right, most likely the bellows. I've also got for the left bank, 3 new sets of spark plug tubes and orings...since I am in there and i'll also be checking what 1999Porsche911 said about the cover as well.

so far:
Actron CP9135 AutoScanner ... $65.00 from Amazon
from SUNCOAST MOTORSPORTS
..(oil filter..since I am there anyway..)AOS bellows & factory clamps. Although from the past posts i'll not use the factory clamps. and bellows and orings, tubes all about $58.00
