Default Pic of Work Brombachers on C4S

I purchased the wheels from Alan Baylis @ www.wheelenhancement.com. I've always heard good things about him and even with some issues I had with his non-proactive communication and shipment error, at the end of the day, he seems like a good guy and I would buy from him again because relatively speaking, many other auto vendors revel in customer service mediocrity.

Anyways, specs are 19x8.5 up front and 12s in the rear. The offsets/widths are the same as the OZ3s I have which are currently for sale. I'm always switching up wheels like I switch up shoes/women - call it a weakness of mine.

The wheels usually take 4-5 weeks to assemble/ship out from Japan, but there was a delay due to lack of supply on the rim part which wasn't great news. I ended up paying Alan my deposit on 8/23 and received the Brombachers on 10/19 (~8 weeks). I setup time with my shop on 10/22 only to find out the offset was incorrect for the fronts to where the brake caliper (stock) clearance was less than a credit card width which is way too close for comfort. Alan on the phone said they sell this fitment all the time which I call BS on since the +51s I got are absolutely spot-on v. the way too aggressive +45. To me, it sounds like he was just covering his **** for a mistake he made or his importer made for 996 widebody fitment with the bigger brakes.

Alan did step up to the plate and overnighted at his cost the correct front wheels so I ended up getting them put on the very next day (huge props to www.cantrellmotorsport.com). Alan also paid for the extra mounting/balance fees since it was his error. I applaud Alan for the quick turnaround and doing the right thing along this front.

I will likely never order wheels again as I am very impatient about things like this. Unfortunately, they simply don't stock 19x12s since it's such a small niche of the cars that can fit this size. I'm in love with the steamroller look so I like to go as wide as possible. Tires are Michelin PS2 315/25s in the back.

I am very happy with the look and quality of the Work Brombachers and will likely keep these for as long as I own the C4S.

Best,
Ben

Ben - the wheels look good! Any close-up of the rears and the lip? BTW - you should know better than to post only one pic!

Yeah...those are bad-***! Closer shots of the deep in the back when you get a chance. Love the look. They kinda resembe Fikse...right? I know they don't make 12's though.

Very nice, Ben. But tell us those are not orange pumpkin turn signals! Yellow bulbs maybe?

if anything, the mesh centers are copying the BBS design since they came up with the whole y spoke thing. it's functional and fortuitously looks good as well.

i'll try to get more pics, but steamrolling can be best appreciated in person.

and no, it's cuz i had my headlights on thus the amber. you guys know me better than to roll with anything aesthetically displeasing! lol

Thx for the comments, fellas.

Love the wheels, but car seems a little too low. I dont like the relationship between the wheels and the wheel wells. Would look better if gap were closer to same on top as on sides. Take a look at SpeedDemon's car. Looks like a better fit.

Nice! Like the color and the look of those rims ESPECIALLY the width of the rears, let's see a shot of the rear tire width and yes let's see the lip! Show us her lips!

If I ever change tires /wheels again I will probably look for wider in the back if they'll fit.

if i had a narrowbody i'd be running 11s. if widebody, 12s with offsets that push it right to the edge without having to resort to fender rolling even when lowered aggressively.
