Default gratuitous pics

I was out for a type of fun run a few weeks ago - the grey's silvers and blacks were very well represented.

I also made it to an auto-x event - mixed results. My times were ok, but the car understeered like a b@stard. I suspect I had my tire pressures all wrong.

Finally I made it to a track event. This time I wasn't even a little bit disappointed in the car's handling....it was spot on and as fast as my semi-track prepared 911 was. I think the tire pressures made all the difference (I started out with 28/30 F/R and kept in the low 30's when hot).

I'm finally getting out and enjoying my hobby. I've been daily drivingthe car (and loving it) but these events are what owning a Porsche is all about in my opinion.

Your comment of "the grey's silvers and blacks were very well represented" is an understatement for sure. When I first saw the pics I thought they were black & white pics. I am surprised you guys let the two red cars join you.

Seriously, nice pics, thanks for sharing them!

Porteau Cove - Howe Sound, on the way to Whistler. The first two anyway. The second and third are Maple Ridge Airport and Pacific Raceways in Seattle respectively.

Here's a couple more from the same run - they seem to be popular. The second photo shows two red cars, one you've seen already, but the one in the back is in fact the same 951 as in the auto-x pic above, so it doesn't count as a fourth red car.

It was a wierd day, we have plenty of "coloured" cars in our club.

In fact I'll attach a shot from last year, taken in Stanley Park. That's me dead centre with my old minerva blue 911.
