Default One Heated Seat not working. Ideas?

Just recently my drivers side heated seat stopped working. Pressing the button on the console doesn't turn them on. The light flashes red but it won't go on. The passenger side seat is working fine. Any ideas what is going on? A stereo was installed recently and the heating gages moved down to the bottom. Did something get disconnected?

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Darron

If your installer pulled the "batwing" with the seat heater switches off to access wiring behind there, there is a good chance that the socket got disconnected. I'd be concerned that he tapped into the seat heater wiring for power to the aftermarket stereo. Check there first.

Darron - I agree with Phil's assessment. Probably loose or disconnected socket.

I don't think the light would flash if the switch was disconnected.

Are there seperate fuses for each seat? The passenger one works fine.

Default One other thing to check

The seat heater circuits use a relay to switch between high and low settings. Reach up under the drivers side of the dash and gently push on all of the relays in the relay support bracket. Sometimes they can get dislodged slightly.
