would like to hear the outcome from the dealer visit. i have had something similar occur very irregularly over the past few months. i have a 03 C2 with 23,000 miles, 10,000 of which i have put on since purchasing her 15 months ago. never see a change in the coolant temp when the oil pressure indicator drops so i am assuming loose connection or oil pressure sending unit. i'm going to wait for next service and have it dealt with then unless the result of your dealer visit concerns me.

Thumbs up Result....engine light and no pressure.....

Daily garaged and well maintained 2003 C4S has 51k....daily driver......the check engine light was caused by misfires, so the ignition coils were inspected and replaced and the loss of oil pressure was the replacement of the oil pressure sending unit......losing some faith in the car, but still have the CPO warranty for another year.....last 2 months has been rough with 4 trips to the dealer.......Thank God...warranty repairs and I have paid nothing, nada.....repairs include...

replacement 2 catalytic converters - $ 2,600
replacement O2 sensor on exhaust system - $ 50
oil pressure sending unit - $ 69.00
replacement 6 ignition coils - cracked wires - unusual at that mileage - $ 500

Would have cost me about $ 4,000 with labor at $125.00 per hour.......

Glad to hear it was something relatively minor and that they got it fixed!
