Thoughts on current 40th Anniversary model pricing?

You bet me to the punch. The best price I saw was $78K and that was $17K off the sticker. I believe that Porsche was offering their Dealers around $10K in market support at the end of the model year.

I was wrong on the CPO...the car doesn't have CPO but the regular factory warranty expires next summer. My final offer offer was $57K; however, they wanted more.
At this point I'll continue looking!

There is a 40th Anniversary at a consignment shop I sometimes stop by at and take a looksee at what they have (they seem to always have Italian exotics). It is very clean, although it has been in and out of there for over a year They are asking $58.5k and it has about 18.3k miles. Their website is www.cammisa.net. I first saw it when shopping for my current 911/996 (which btw I now have for sale). Good Luck with your search.

You mean $95K. The list on ones with comfort seats and Nav were $96K. Porsche had a $10K dealer incentive for these cars in addition to the $12K difference between the invoice and sticker. Many of these cars sold new in the mid-$70's, which was a bargain for the amount of equipment they have. You couldn't buy a new regular Carrera stripped for $60-65K in 04'.
