Default C4S Ready for Winter - Blizzaks and Zaino

Just got in my winter wheels and Blizzaks from Damon at TireRack, who was great to work with. I ended up going with 18 x 10 (265) rears and 18 x 8.5 (225) upfront.

Also, put 21mm spacers on the rears to fill it out. We don't get a lot of snow in the Seattle area but I go over the passes several times during the winter...looking forward it!

Finally, put on a couple last coats of Zaino before hunkering down for winter.

Here's a peek:

You expecting snow so soon in your area? We won't see snow until mid-nov at the earliest. Temp this weekend is hitting 30c; if I put snow tires on now they'd melt!

You're right...I've put them on at least a month earlier than I will going forward...I was just anxious to see how they'd look, so I got to it this weekend.

That said, we did get some early snow in our passes this past week and I hear it will be an El Nino winter, so lots of moisture predicted.

It was 90 here in Missouri. That is damn hot for this time of year. The car looks very nice.

Car looks fantastic. I got my knockoff wheels too and Blizzaks waiting to be mounted for snow. Are those LM25's?

Thanks for the compliments, guys.

Yes, they're the LM-25s. I have about 60 miles on them (I run the the PS tires in the summer). It's too early to give observations on differences...I've been easy on them in the early going.
