Michelin PS2.....less than 6K miles....belt is exposed on the inside rear tire...

I had the car aligned a few weeks ago. Rear passenger was previously set to -2.2....hence the awful wear pattern on the inside. Now set to stock at -1.5.

i never had too much of an issue with excessive tire wear due to "lots" of neg camber. even at -2.5 on my s2000, they wore fine, but then i rarely ran the tires/wheels long enough to care.
and i know that the ps2s have this more durable tread on the inside to compensate for the neg camber. i believe i'm at about -2 in the rear on my 911. and not sure one can say alignment is key. it' sa combination of things which includes driving style and the roads in your locale.

That is because A) the S2000 weighs less than a 911, B) the engine and transmission are over the rear tires increasing wear.

true, but same case on the m3 and now even my pork4S. all good even with a good amount of neg camber. and i probably drove teh s2000 harder than the german rides.
