Default C4S on the block...

I can't take it any more - I've owned my C4S for two years, and only put 5900 miles on it. It has sat in my garage too long - just no chance to drive it. Between taking kids to baseball and volleyball, Home Depot runs and whatever, I just can't justify the expense any more.

It's all good, though - I'll get back in when the time is right. I'm looking at a few options - Audi S6, 550i or M5, or even the restyled Cayenne - life is good.

I know values are always a hot topic on the 996 board, so you can follow the progress on my Ebay auction at:

I'm in LA, so I don't anticipate much of a problem selling the car - plus, it helps that it's a badass C4S, so we'll see what happens.

My God - 5900 miles in two years - you must drive it ALL the time! Compared to me that is! Reminds me of Woody Allen's line to Diane Keaton in Annie Hall. When asked by their respective psychiatrists how often they have sex, she says "all the time - twice a week." His answer - "almost never - twice a week."

Rick, good luck with your sale - she's certainly a beautiful car. Especially love the red belts over the black supple leather. Nice!

That must have turned your hair gray to think of 5,900 miles on your car. I'll bet you had to run out to the garage to see that you still had only 2,350 on your car!
