As already said...it provides down force...there is also a set of tubes that cools the front brakes (sportec style w/o the bling)...I don't know why...I kind of like it

it's cool to see the differences of opinions - all i gotta say is the PPP of this techart turbo is insane. it's so perfect. BBS, Techart, 911... the perfect storm.

def something i'm looking forward to do if i decide to hit up that 997TT

personally..I think the front opening is what makes that kit.

I envision driving behind the paperboy on an early foggy Sunday morning. The road is long and trees on both sides. The exhaust growling in first gear revving about 4K rpm. He looks back and all he see's is those large open ports about to be devoured.

Thanks Wross... if it serves a function then I'm all for it.

dont like the 911 hood, to many sharp lines, and side badge... this must be a new techart kit?... no? Overall, im glad we have choices like these, If one gets bored with the OEMs, slap these on and you have a new turbo! Even though I think the oems are hot enough for me!

The pictures are great, kudos to the photographer. I like the car for what it is; I'd stop and look at it before walking past.

Love the car though I think the rear spoiler is a bit over the top and the red caps like a wart on the nose.

Would look much better with the Techart wing but it's smokin' hot...my C2 could be considered its "baby brother" as I have a somewhat similar setup...I will post my pictures soon...

Absolutely stunning car. Well done- absolutely beautiful....

My 993 is completely standard but the 996 turbo is modified to the teeth with a GT2 bodykit (sanse badging of course). The turbo just begs to be more aggressive in my opinion.
