PCM codes

I am going to buy a PCM without codes or the VIN from the vehicle it came from. Will the dealer be able to program this? Thanks

I would get the serial number vin first, call several dealers and see if the code works... the dealer doesnt program the pcm... the pcm ask you for a 4 digit code to unlock itself upon power up.

the seller did not give me the 4-digit code when I bought the car, how do i retrieve it without going back to the seller?
