Default I have went on too long not asking this......

After a search in the forum help section, I still have not figured out how to do something. I noticed some of you have multiple quotes from different people. Do you copy/paste the quote before and after someones comment or is it easier than that? Others have split peoples write-ups into multiple sections to counter their argument, is it the same principle of copy/pasting the qoute? Help TIA, Cory

Whenever you want to quote someone, go to the post that they made and click those little quotation marks in the bottom right corner of their post. If you hold your mouse over the quotes it will say "reply with quote". Click and make a good point!!!!!!

Michael, keep your jokes in your own thread. I know that. I was asking how to multiple person qoute or split qoute a large write-up.

Sorry, this is how I do it. I quote the first person the way i said above and type my response then click go advanced, then insert a bracket, the word quote, = sign, whoever your quoting, end bracket, copy their note from below (on go advanced it will list all previous posts), paste it in, insert another bracket, a / sign, the word quote again, and a end bracket, and my reply....... and then so forth and so on...... or just copy the brackets and quotes from your first quote...... easier than it sounds!

Tippy,
you can do that the long way by hitting "Reply with quote" for the particular post or each of the multiple posts you want to quote,
then copy and paste the "quoted box/boxes" temporarily on a notepad (fast and easy application) for re-copy and finally paste all quotes onto your actual reply/post.

If you don't want to use the notepad, you could also open up a new window of the same thread on the same site, and copy quotes directly from there, as you compose your reply message.

OR...if you are familiar with BBcodes, use them for convenience, and save a few steps.

Hope that helps...
