Ben - Are you kidding me? The Turbo tips don't stick out any farther that the stock tips. Where do you get this stuff?

Thanks - I especially appreciate the photos of the black coupe since that is what I have.
Looks great.
Any info on a reliable eBay vendor?

I think I just found my next mod.

I've looked at the ones of SpiderV6's car and they look great, but I wasn't sure that they would fit on my car, so I didn't pull the trigger. Now that I know that fit pre-'02 cars I'll add this onto my list of jobs to do.

We did a group buy from this guy for alu pedals. He's selling these turbo look tips. Don't know if the tips are any good... maybe I should put another group buy together!

I might be in on a group buy... but not it you did it immediately. Also, we need him to give us a better deal than he did last time, considering the amount of business we gave him.

Don't want my wife to start calling the car my money pit.

I worry about the comment in the ad you posted that said welding was required. What's the deal there?

Fellas:

Personally, I like the look of the dual tips better. Call me a poseur if you want. I don't care.

I'm in for a group buy.

I am a bit confused about some things...so to clarify:

Will these fit a C2 Cab ('02)?
Is this a DIY or not?

Thanks, in advance, for the answers.

Ouch! 450 *American* dollars?

Sorry, guys, they look OK, but that pricing is absolutely absurd. Even the $289 from eBay is ridiculous.

This ^ design is "bassackwards" from the OEM Turbo tips. The OEM tips have the larger outlet as a complete oval with the smaller oval joining into the larger outlet. The ebay tips have the larger outlet joining into the smaller oval. I don't suppose it really makes any difference functionally.

functionally? They don't do anything except for look damn ccol

and $450? It's a genuine Porsche part, so............

and frankly, I'd rather pay money for those (that you can actually see) rather than for some spacers which move my wheels out by 0.0154879555 inches........

horses for courses....beauty is in the eye of the beholder......etc.....

...so it's marked up incredibly high even though it doesn't do anything except make other P-car owners "in the know" think you're trying to make your base ride into an "S" version the poseur way.

If the wheel spacer has a functional purpose, that would be more preferable to me than dropping HALF A GRAND for these things. They do look nice, but they certainly wouldn't be a deal-breaker if they weren't on a car I was thinking about buying.
