Serious injuries?

Could that be a little subconscious slip about the condition of the car? Just askin'.

for me i can't stand cars where the interior looks used without care - my c4s is absolutely mint and will be mint when mine comes time to sell.

this one looks like it's been armor alled to death inside. check the leather condition of the seats esp. no thx.

Ha! I saw that too. Not sure how you make that typo happen.

Anyway, good sign that there's another Porsche in the driveway

Not understanding the questioning on the condition of the car? It seems to be in great shape from the pictures? From the milage it doesn't seem to be a garage queen. I called and left a message, I'll let you guys know the results.

price is a bit high for the mileage and condition, despite being an '01. i think the right price should be around $31k.

Just spoke with him, hell of a nice guy. He is a fanatic about Porsches, he actually has a old Carrera in the garage also. I was right it is not a garage queen, it's a daily driver. He said that is the reason for selling, "it's too nice of a car to be using as a daily driver." He now wants either a 951S or 968.
OK so the good news:
He just had it at the dealer and he it gone over. They installed a new RMS, trans undertray and frt chin spoiler. Everything else is perfect.
Bad news:
He gave the car 9 out of 10 in cosmetics, because the rear wing is aftermarket, the rest of the areo package is OEM. The car can also use a good buffing. The interior is perfect. The car now has 67000mi.

I told him about him misspelling and he laughed. He didn't what joy riders coming around. Now, he said the biggest problem are dealers wanting to sell the car for him, so he's updating his add. He also sounds desperite since he had the add running for 3 months.

Not even close. The front is $1K and the skirts are $750 OEM (I have purchased both from a dealer so I can report those prices. If you pay more then you are getting ripped off. The wing is aftermarket so I assume he spent about $3K total for the entire setup. Not sure where you get your $7K number from.

As for the car. Seems nice but overpriced. And to say the car is "too nice" to use as a daily driver. Are you f'in kidding? That is the entire reason these cars are built. They are not museum pieces. Ferdinand would not be happy if you told him that you didn't want to drive it because it is too nice.
