Default Help - Bumperettes Install

Trying to re-install my bumperettes, and am running into an issue.

I have a MY 2003 and the bumperettes are held on by tabs that click into a hard plastic piece on the back/inside of the bumper cover. Attached pic show the black plastic piece that they are supposed to click into. Somehow, these pieces are 'floating' around, so I can't get the tabs from the bumperettes to catch the plastic piece.

Any thoughts????

There is a retaining frame that is on the backside of the bumper cover that holds the bumperettes in. That is what you see through the hole.

You have to remove the bumper cover from the car to properly remove and install the bumperettes. Pulling them off with out taking the bumper cover off can damage the retaining frame.

The bumper cover is just held on with 3 screws on each side and about 8 on the back side (4 on the top by the engine cover and 4 on the bottom.) It is a easy operation.

With the cover off, the bumperettes are easy to line up with the retaining frame, and they just snap together.

Do you happen to have a pic/diagram to show which screws to undo?

Looks pretty good.

Looks like I will have to polish the backside of my bumper today!

Ummm... Dutchie that may be a little more information about your personal hygiene than most of us want to know.... and I'm not even going to ask how you know that Orient Express has a clean rear!
