If you were willing to go to Carlsen, you may as well drive a little further to Custom. Give them a call and see what they have to say about your 996.

Also, I buy all my tires from Tire Rack and have them shipped to Custom and mounted/balanced there.

Good luck.
I have made note of Custom Alignment, do you have a website for them?

I can't speak for 996 alignments, but Krause is known for their ability and skill in setting up 993s. They can do the kinematic toe on them, a rare commodity these days.
I have had excellent experience there and Brandon Krause knows his stuff. Actually, he knows T-hill very well too... I understand he is pretty quick on that track.

Hope to see you around town.
OK I am starting to hear positive stuff about Krause so that is good. I have made note of them also. Do you have a website for them?

Eric, I had a great time at TH and it was good to meet everyone. Thanks for the kind words about my car, your car also looks great and I am sure it is a blast to drive. Yep I am now researching adding some safety stuff to the car (roll bar, seats and harness) as I will track the car but safety first. It will still be a street car but I want to get my speed fix on the track but be safe about it. I will post some pics from the weekend on the Thunderhill thread this weekend after I go through all of them.
