Dead Battery Replaced- Now SmartTOP does not work
Two weeks ago, my '99 cabrio had a dead battery. I tried jumping the car, but it didn't work. I tried starting it with a Sears battery booster, but that didn't work either. A new battery worked and all was well. Except...
The top would not operate. I removed the SmartTOP module and reconnected everything as stock and it now works fine, but I miss the one-touch function.
Anyone have any experience to offer here? Did I fry the SmartTOP module as I suspect? I have not heard from the company after emailing them, so I thought I'd ask if anyone had a similar problem and/or any solution.
Thanks,
CP
