Default 996 rear badge

Does anyone know where I can find a rear '996' badge to replace where it generally says 'Carrera'.
I know some of you have 911 badges. Where did you get yours from and if you were to turn your 9 to make a 6 would it look right? (Maybe I can purchase 3 911 badges to make 1 996 if the upside down 9 looked right in the font to resemble a 6.)
TheSpeedDemon - what do you think since you have 911 in the back there?

Actaully right now I have no badge on the car but I do have a black Carrera badge that I will be putting on shortly.

I saw a thread earlier about custom badges but the cost was pretty steep, and I have not seen or heard of a 996 from the factory, so modifying the 911 with 2 more 9's could work but not sure how it will look (don't want it too look tacky now do you).

Personally I would opt for buying the 3 911 badges but using all 9's upside down

Eric at bumperplugs has them of course. They are about 40ish bucks for the full size porsche numbers. And he also has smaller ones, but there more, I know, I know. Email him from his site! Already set up order for em...

Do a search. I recall at least one long, recent thread on exactly this topic.

I had my shop install the 911 emblem. The kid that installed it was very proud that he had gotten it centered perfectly. However, I knew he was slightly dyslexic when I saw the numbers installed as “119”.

I thought something like "996" or "996 C2" would be interesting.

It would be, but no one outside the Porsche "community" would know what it means.

Tim, reverse the emblem and your car will sell faster.

I did a thread about a month ago called Rear Badge: Yes or No?, That had a lot of similarities.

But after the responses I received on that thread I agree with Tim here as well, if the badge (if used) isn't 911 or Carrera, only people within the Porsche community would know what it means, unless that is the goal or not a concern of the owner (did I just say what I think I said, agree with Tim...JK Tim, your input is always valuable )
