I did a thread about a month ago called Rear Badge: Yes or No?, That had a lot of similarities.

But after the responses I received on that thread I agree with Tim here as well, if the badge (if used) isn't 911 or Carrera, only people within the Porsche community would know what it means, unless that is the goal or not a concern of the owner (did I just say what I think I said, agree with Tim...JK Tim, your input is always valuable )
Yeah, I know the feeling. I really HATE it when I have to admit that I agree with Dell (LVDell) on anything!

I saw that nameyourporsche link but for $450 it is quite steep for what you're getting. I like the idea of using 996 as that's what it is. I'm just not sure if I use an upside down 9 from 996 if it'll look odd (given in the porsche font, the tail on the 9 is real short).
I'm gonna check with BumperPlugs to see if they have something like this or can show me what it looks like.

How about putting the price back there? Seems like that's what everyone wants to know.

True, either the price or what you do for a living. Popular question number 2.

For now I am rolling without the badge, just because the last attempt to add the badge I thought I had it perfect but not quite and the removal did not leave me with a second attempt. But I do have another black Carrera badge and I will have a Porsche body shop install it along with the rear spoiler (aka wicker bill or gurney flap) on my rear wing.

Can't wait to see the new wheels on the car. As for the badge, yep decisions decisions...

Yes, we DO stock the '996' logo, along with '986' '993' '911' and just about all factory emblems as well (GT2, GT3, etc). And we can do them in any color, including flat black (if not already black, like the chrome turbo logo).

Email me anytime: eric@bumperplugs.com

Default Price?

WERA 371 How about putting the price back there? Seems like that's what everyone wants to know.

That's a good one! Seems for some reason pulling up in one of these P cars you get everyone thinking it's a 100K+ car.

I'm working out some details with Eric now!

I was at moonshadows in malibu, the place that makes my car look like a honda civic in comparison to other cars, a couple weekends ago and saw the worst I have ever seen. A guy pulls up in a 99 tiptronic c2 cab, with a techart front bumper, some god awful wheels, and his emblem on the back was all crooked and said "GT 69"

Needless to say covered head to toe in bling.....
I thought I had seen it all.......

That is possibly the worst I have ever heard. Anyone who puts 69 on anything probably doesnt do much of it!

How about the vehicles with the ball sack ... just ridiculous, even saw a photo shoot of a Mustang in a top notch magazine and it had a pair on it in the pictures, what were they thinking I do not know.

So hopefully I do not see that appear on a Porsche.

But recently I have been waiting for someone with photoshop to put the fake intake bits you see them do now on the front fenders trying to look like a Bentley. Seen a lot of cars all makes rolling with them on the side of there cars, ridiculous
