I'm a little low on coolant and want to add some this weekend but all the local porsche dealers are closed. Any recommendations for non-oem coolant to use?

Pentosin G 012. Available at VW and Audi dealers, but they're probably closed too. A few auto parts stores carry Pentosin.
There are a few coolants now on the market that claim to be compatible with any car, but I personally would not risk it.

DEX-COOL anti-freeze is also a good choice over Porsche or VW branded G12 Coolant. It is much less expensive and is available at most auto parts stores and mass merchants.

The idea that only Porsche branded coolant should be used in Porsches was made with same intent of the instructions on your shampoo that says "lather, rinse, lather again".....

Water Wetter is a great product, used it back in the day racing Ford V8s. Didn't know that Redline made it too. Be aware that it provides NO anti-freeze protecxtion, but considering that its July and OP lives in California, that shouldn't be a problem.
