I am trying to decide what 3-way component set to go with for the front stage of my 996. I have a JL Audio 450/4 amp which will give me 150 watts x 2 for the front stage and then 75 x 2 for the rear speakers. I am just going use the same brand for the rear fill once I decide on a brand.
I am looking at a few different brands and thought I would see what other people were using.
I am considering:
MB Quart Q Series
JL Audio XR or ZR Series
Focal

Lets here what everyone is using.

I would do the MB Quart, I have had these and infiniti Kappas in my vehicles and the MB Quarts are by far superior. Also they are like butter with JL (in your case) and PPI products......

I did the Focal- I have had the MB before and liked them- I would do Dynaudio next time however as I think they are just a little smoother than the Focal but overall I am happy-

Thanks for the quick info so far. How abour fitment in the doors? I have the mid bass drivers there which is why I need the 3 way. I was just worried about the speakers hitting something due to depth.
