Default Wind Deflector

Am looking for a wind deflector for my cab... couple of questions?

- Does anybody have one sitting around that they want to part with?
- I'm 6.3 and heard that you can't move your seat all they way back with deflector installed... is that correct?
- lastly, someone told me that 997 and 996 deflectors are exactly the same although they do have different part numbers. Is that correct?

Thx.

Dutchie, a good test that BlackCab996 told me was to put your top down, place soft towels over the rear side windows, and lay a broomstick across the back, lined up over the insertion holes on top of the towels. If your seating position is comfortable and does not interfere with the broomstick, then you should be ok. It depends more on the reclined position of the seats rather than having them far back. Good Luck.

I still have mine and am not using it - feel free to PM me if interested (this message goes out to anyone interested - FYI, I am 6'2" tall, but long in the leg - 6'3" tall is probably not going to work unless you are disproportionately long in the torso ) - I bought my deflector on ebay in great condition, used it once, discovered my legs are too long and it sits unused and undamaged.

I'm 6-5 with 36" inseam, and at times, the windstop prevents me from reclining the seat as much as I would like.
However, I still use it in all but warm weather.
To me, the pluses outweigh the reduced recline angle.
And the only time I have my top up is when it's raining or cold (<55F).
