Default PSS9 settings

What settings do y'all have for stiffness and ride height for your PSS9's for:

1) street
2) track

Can you set your PSS9's to a softer ride than stock for the street?

First, height is not really adjustable...once set you would have to do a lot to change this (including alignment), second...stiffness is actually the speed at which the coilovers rebound. Anyway... 3 front 2 rear all the time...I have the FVD version though.

ArneeA - is that a Ruf front spoiler? And does anything rub at all on those settings?
wross - Do you get any rub on your settings with yout turbo spoiler and spoiler lip?

Any desire to go any lower?

wross - I am actually planning on a new install so seeing what settings best to go with; I understand that ride height would require alignment changes to work properly, but I thought the stiffness was like the koni adjustables where you could turn the ***** to adjust stiffness; after checking them out a bit more, the PSS9s I found don't work that way - thanks for the info

What is FVD version - newbie Q

It's the factory C4S/turbo bumper.

I plan on going lower by a few mm, maybe 15-20mm. No rubbing on factory OE Turbo II Twists on my C4S w/ Advan Neova AD07's.

Street is definitely personal taste. I like it firm, so 3f/3r. For track I'm 1f/1r, but if you like it a little loose you could soften the front. IMO, though, you're not going to get a lot of balance control with rebound damping adjustment.

For you guys on 3 or 4 front, 2 rear - do you notice more or less oversteer?
How does this setup help, if at all with the 'lift off through turn' oversteer?

More or less than what?

There are too many other variables at play (such as ride height, tires, pressures) to be able to answer the question. You'll have to play with it and fine tune.

Anything you do to seriously reduce lift throttle oversteer will make it a no-fun under-steering pig. What problem are you trying to solve? Is this street or track?

Good question - More or less than what?
This is for just street. It rains a lot out here on the West Coast and I've had a few instances of the rear kicking loose in the wet. And while it is fun in an open area, not so fun on the street!
I'm changing tires right now and was thinking of going the pSS9 route, and once I get them installed I was trying to get a feel of rennlisters feedback on driver feel and settings to help reduce this a bit.
I'm new to the P-car and it is very different from driving my other cars I'm finding. I'm planning on taking some driver ed but that won't happen probably till next summer due to time.

They have different springs (spring tension) ..Euro version.

No rubbing anywhere with 19" OZs. I removed the CF lip from the TechArt front bumper.

It's all a trade-off. If you want the most safe/stable handling go soft in the rear in stiff in the front, but expect the car to push a lot, wet or dry. More important, you will still get power-oversteer in the wet and will probably still get oversteer in a violent drop-throttle oversteer. I would set it up neutrally and then just take it easy in the wet, but that's me.
