We are about 40 miles from home with the main belt thrown. We have new belt and resonable amount of tools to replace but I am having trouble trying to figure out which pulley or tensioner is the one used to adjust (loosen/tighten belt) when replacing the belt. We are on a wireless connection via a laptop and any quick help would be a huge blessing...........THX

Wow, thanks for that quick diagram...working on it.
And yes, there is always something to look for when a belt goes....just need to get her home slowly first.
Thanks very much...

Check that all the components spin freely or with slight resistance, nothing should be hard to turn or locked. Make sure that there isnt any misalignment of the components also.

My belt slipped due to the tensioner rusting over as the car was sitting more than being driven so water would pool and not escape... rust. Check that if you don't drive your car much.
