Car's beautiful in black! You've got the clear corners - now ditch the front plate and get some bumper plugs!! Yeah, I know - it's illegal in Colorado. One of the reasons to move to PA!! Enjoy your C4S!

Well, they sold it out from under me.

Now I am out the PPI.

Dealers are Snakes.

I had even wanted to put down a deposit but they said doing the PPI was enough.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

That sucks! I'm betting that they got a higher offer and ran with it.

+1 Wellardmac....car looked nice. Too bad they didn't give you the opportunity to at least match it.

Dispute the PPI on your credit card if they won't charge back on it, no reason you should pay for it now.

If the PPI was done thru an independant source, there will be no grounds for a dispute. Certainly wouldn't be the fault of the PPI shop.....they did what they were paid for. The only recourse would be suing the dealer for that cost....which you should be able to recover based upon your facts.

However, the time involved and aggravation will most likely not make it worth while. I would ask the dealer to refund what your out of pocket was....it's the least they can do to regain your confidence to some extent.

Best,
J

It was done at Beverly Hills Porsche.

The little dealer is scummy. Not worth my time and effort. They suck that is for sure.

Blessing in disguise.......now you can seek out a Turbo.

I was stunned you were considering going from the fastest 993 made to the slowest 996........it just didn't make sense

Considering have a nice PCar for lower cost for a while then get a TT in a year or two was the thinking.

Sorry to see that the deal didn't happen. 40k was a steal for that car! I paid a heck of a lot more for mine, though mine is CPO has brand new tires and had the 15k service done.
