Having owned two different porsches to date (914 and 993) will be starting to search for the exactly right next car. Parameters are the following:
1) 2002+ C2 non-turbo (cannot afford the price of entry for turbo
)
2) Seal Gray or Vesuvio exterior and will consider aero
3) Interior either gray (partial) or black
4) Lowish miles prefered
5) extra set of rims a desireable bonus
6) reasonable cost
7) obviously all records
I have read what to look out for in excellence and some opinions here but would like to ask what specifically to look for this particular year range from this knowledgeable group. Also, how rare are the vesuvio and seal gray cars over other colors? I have no problem waiting for the right car so that is not a factor. Use will be semi-daily at first then a nice retirement to "spirited weekend driving" mostly doing the same "course" over and over again
Any advice greatly appreciated.

According to paint color chart on Renntech.org, Vesuvio was only offered in the '99 - '01 cars. Seal Gray is fairly common.
I am selling my 2004 C2 in Lapis Blue with Gray interior and deviating Metropol Blue carpet. It has 41,xxx miles on it and am asking $52,000 OBO. PM me if you need more info or check out this link:

Thanks for the clarification on vesuvio. Have always liked that color.
Pretty set with the color combination so your car will not work for me (and it is out of my budget range anyway) but good luck on your sale. Car looks really nice!
