need help. planning to buy 02 c4s at paul miller porsche NJ
I am considering buying a 2002 c4s at paul miller porsche in New Jersey. Does anyone have any experience with this dealership? I live in chattanooga tn and have only seen pics and gone over the car with the salesman over the phone. It's sounds good. 1 owner with no paintwork and service history all at the same paul miller porsche.
Does any forum member live closeby that could look at it for me and give me unbiased input?nay help would be greatly appreciated as it is my first big porsche purchase and I am a little nervous. before I buy plane tickets. the dealership said that is was inspected by them and everthing checks out. they will offer an aftermarket warranty because it's over 50k miles. any advice would be appreciated. thanks in advance. Mike in chattanooga 423-432-0440

I bought all 3 of my Porsches from Paul Miller in Parsippany. All my service was done there as well.
1991 944S2
2000 996 C2
2003 C4S
Which salesman are you dealing with? What's the sales price?
They are a big dealer up here in Northern NJ (Paul Miller or Jack Daniels are the 2 major ones, aside from Catena who's in Central Jersey).
I've had all good experiences with my purchases there, I did have a slight issue with my 944S2 when I first purchased it. There was a water leak near the windshield but I managed to fix it before I had to take it to them.

I found it....It actually looks fantastic. It does not show on their normal site.....but does appear on the pre owned porsche.com site.
Here's the link.
This is exactly how I found my C4S. I grabbed it before it even hit their own site. This must be a new arrival for them. If I was a bit closer, I'd love to go out for you. Check the NNJR site I referred you to before, all the shops are great, and the independant's might even be able to go out there and do the PPI since there are lifts at the dealer.

Best of luck,

mkgtn, I can't get there this week but would be more then happy to look at it next week if that works for you. I would check the option codes listed under the hood and could recommend a good PPI shop to take a look at it.

Yes, it has Bi-Xenon headlights. You can see the silver headlight disks on the headlight assembly. Bi-Xenon headlights require headlight washers.

I would wonder why they don't certify it. My understanding is that they can certify beyond 50,000 miles. I thought I read somehwhere they could actually certify up to 80,000 miles. I am sure someone here can quote chapter and verse on that. It only costs them about $1000 to certify the car and give you the warranty.

I live real close.
I can take a look for you Saturday, don't know how they feel about people taking it for a spin who aren't the acutal interested buyer. I have to stop by there for some parts. Although last Saturday their parts/ service department was supposed to be open but they never opened. Went to Ray Catena in Edison instead, which is a top notch facility by any luxury standard.
Have you asked about the CPO option? Sometimes they don't offer it right away, particularly if the price is low.
