Default My 1st Porsche! C2 Cab with 19's Lapis Blue

Hi guys! I just bought my 1st Porsche last week. It’s a 2001 C2 Cab. with Tiptronic. It only has 29K miles. It is loaded out with the full leather pkg and Porsche crest on the head rests of the seats and the dashboard is leather. It also has the front and back upgraded wood grain option. The guy just bought 19x8.5 and 19x10 Porsche 3 piece Challenge wheels for it and he also included 3 piece 18 inch upgraded wheels with new tires. I will post pics of that soon. I just ordered the Schnell CAI with drop in K&N Filter and Aluminum Porsche racing pedals. I am looking into a different exhaust but haven’t decided yet. The car is Lapis Blue with dark tan leather. Here are a few pics. I am looking forward to being a part of this site.

Wayne, I didn't say "drive it," I said "use it" - very different! I "used" mine today, for example. Actually drove it around 10 miles! Are you picking up where Tim left off?

Cool! Glad to hear that you took the lady for a spin. I hope that you avoided the thunderstorms - mine stayed in the garage, as I was afraid of getting it wet.

As for the Tim comment.... no, just giving you a hard time as usual.

CONGRATS! I'm loving the rims, welcome aboard! You're going to have a blast in that. You mentioned going for a K&N filter, I'd read some posts on this thread about the problems it causes for the Air Mass Flow sensor. I had to get mine replaced because of the K&N filter.

I read about the K&N CAI causing problems also so I went with the Schnell CAI. They sell K&N replacement filters that are like the stock ones that go in the stock airbox you just get a little better flow. The K&N kit you are thinking about had the open cone filter that threw CEL codes and hurt MAF's on 99-2001. I want to see more pics of your 01. What kind of wheels are those and did you lower it?
Thanks for the complements everyone. I will post more pics soon. I sold my 350Z Touring to help buy this car and I dont regret it at all! I love it!
