Default Martha Stewart tip for cars with clear bras.

The previous owner of my car had a clear bra installed, which I was pretty happy about. However, the bra had acquired some hazy, scuffy looking bits, especially around the emblem, presumably from closing the trunk. Last night, feeling brave, I tried some Maguiar's plastic polish on it, which I used to use on the back window of my Z3.

It worked really well. Thought I'd share. Sorry, no pics, but I figured it was worth posting anyway.

Meguiar's Plastic Polish is good for that... for light cleaning, try a can of Plexus.

Even easier .. finish the clear plastic with Pledge when you wash the car.

After seven summers, my back window was crystal clear when I sold the car. The keys seemed to be keeping it polished, and using BMW's window blanket when the top was down. Replacing them was such a PITA on those cars, I was motivated to take care of it.

yeah I know Plexus well...I used to use it on my old Arai motorcycle helment. I swear I never put 2 and 2 together...duh...PLASTIC...it needs to be cleaned and polished! just like my rear window and my helmet. Makes perfect sense.

I am gonna go to the old motorcycle shop and pick some up.

That's funny. When I had my Boxster, and posted on PPBB, there must've been a post a day about Plexus. I don't see it posted here as much.

Isn't that stuff MIL spec? If so, does the can list the MIL #?
