Gents,
Several people have asked me for the link to the information on the Euro X51 kit that is fitted to my car. There is a picture and full parts list. I think the picture alone half justifies the near $20K price tag!

That's all you need to show to some of the nieve people on this board that beleive you can get 25hp from a CAI or Mufflers!
That picture is worth a thousand words. THAT my friends is what it takes to get 25hp the "real" way.

I agree, but you have to cast your mind back to 1999. Certainly in Europe, you could not get a GT3 for love nor money. The first owner of my car was unable to get a GT3 in time, so he went for the next best thing in his mind. He specced the X51, PSE, GT3 bucket seats in leather, MO30, LSD etc. The car was even delivered without rear seats and belts...

Charles,
Visit our own 997 forum and see the 997S guys running out to upgrade to the X51 to take them from 355 to 380.

When I rebuilt my 996 race car as a 3.6L I had to order the engine and X51 separately. I'll never forget the day it showed up at the race shop that built my car. It was a couple of days before xmas and the owner and I opened each box like it was the best present of the year.
The picture doesn't show that it also includes a software upgrade.
As for power, I have a 320 hp dyno sitting around somewhere. That's RWHP btw. Try getting there with a plenum.
p.s. IT'S FOR SALE!
