Default Tire Questions

What is the widest "safe" rear tire fittment for a lowered(1.5") NB 996 C2? Going on 19"x11" Iforged wheels with 68mm offset. Will 305/25/19 or even 315/25/19 fit without rubbing out back? Will 245/35/19 fit cleanly up front with the correct offset?

Also, what's the Rennlister opinion on Toyo T1R or Toyo Proxe 4's for a daily driven C2?

Thanks in advance!

Love the T1R - awesome tire - best I've tried (and I've tried a few)

I use the 315/25/19 on the rear 11" wheel - 67 offset

Keeps the wheel at a Porsche spec 25" Diameter and looks awesome from the rear!

Clearance from the lip of the wheel arch to the shoulder of the tire on my un-lowred car is 50-60mm (2-2.5")

So I think you'll be ok.

Fronts I'm running 235/35/19 on 8" rims

My lowered '04 with 19" wheels (Champion RG5, don't know the offset) has 295/30s out back, never a problem.

I think you're gonna rub with 315s lowered on a narrowbody even with good offsets. I have no fitment issues on 12" 315/25/19 combo on my C4S and I'm slammed. Clearance is very tight just how it should be.
