how many 996s ordered exclusive-programme ?
Not looking for an exact figure, but were a good portion of the 996s ordered through the exclusive-programme (option code 09991) ?
I am just wondering if that makes my 996 somewhat rare or if most of them have this option. . .
I had a 924 way back in the day that had a CB-radio which plugged in under the glove box and would broadcast through the car's am-fm radio speakers. The controls for the cb were all in the handheld unit which had the porsche logo on the front and back. This was ordered through the exclusive program, and I have never seen another like it. (wish I had taken pics!)
It seems that the exclusive options on my 996 are a little more common. Silver gauge faces, exhaust tips, carrera door sills, etc.

sounds about right. my car went thru exclusive....and it wasn't impressive at all stock...nothing "wow-ing"

All Porsche's now are done that way....even if a car is ordered for the dealers lot, they spec the car the way they want it...color, options, etc....so EVERY Porsche is custom ordered.
