yup, thank you so much. your offset is 67, right? my new BBS wheels would be 60 and from the pictures it looks like there is no 7mm to spare, you are at the max as it is.

*sob* now i dont know what to get.

Maybe this is a better view for you?

Yeh, I know - Dell keeps giving me a hard time about it

I'm 7mm too far in from spec on each side, due to the std offset on the 997 wheel.

I'm thinking of bumping each side out 10mm or even 15mm - due to peer pressure!

Anyone got good recommendations for quality spacers?

Go with the OEM spacers that the wide bodies use for the sport technos. They are 17mm. That would give you the equivalent of a 10mm spacer form stock which would like BAD ***!!!!

About $250 a set and come with a set of nuts for the new bolts as well.

17mm Spacer KitSet of two 17mm spacers with installed studs & 10 wheel nuts. 000-044-500-10

The other spacers pictured are the OEM 5mm ones.

ok, here we go - not super scientific, but hey, it's been a long day!

So I put a straight edge against the bead on the Toyo tire, and this intersects with the wheel arch @ top dead center, right on the inside of the arch.

Now the Toyo tire bead is quite prominent, so I measured the bead to tire shoulder distance, which is the possible area that could be in contact with the wheel arch.

This distance is between 10mm-12mm.

So I appear to have 10mm-12mm of space to the lip of the wheel arch.

You need to look inside and see if there are any clearance issues inside your arch.

I have standard suspension fitted, so I then measured the distance from the inside TDC of the wheel arch to the tire shoulder.

This appears to be 50mm-60mm

So as you have EU spec suspension, you need to factor in that you have less clearance from TDC to shoulder.

As you can see - I have zero rubbing issues with this set up.

Hope that helps!

thanks all... to be honest, my head is about to explode from all the various offset combinations and wheel sizes. i am just so afraid the wheel will stick out and make my car look like this:

Well, I'm no ex-spurt but..

If you run a 25 profile rear tire, you keep the rear wheel diameter to spec @ 25", thus reducing your risk of rubbing on the insides of the rear wheel arch.

30 profile makes the tire/wheel diameter a whole inch larger!

If your wheels have just 7mm more offset outwards than mine, it looks like you should be in-bounds, without sticking out like a *******' wagon.

Now of course you need to find a suitable 25 profile 19" tire for the rear.

I use the Toyo T1R at 315 width - cause it sticks like glue and looks 'badass' as Prof Dell would say.

So I think there's a good probability that it will all fit, look good, and give you those extra inches on the manhood that only 19" delivers (should you need it!)

Of course, I defer to others in respect to my complete lack of any tire related certifications.

Anyone?
