I'm at 103K and still going strong.

When it turned 100K, I made sure I was going 100mph - just for because.

And I thought I was one of the only few with high mileage!
I'm rolling onto 81,000miles...and hoping everyday that I've passed the engine-failure jinx.
We don't hear of big numbers here too much.

Tippy, did you ever find the cause of your transmission issue?
I never had another occurence in mine since then, but I'm still gonna schedule a transmission service when I can find some time, and to just check out the transmission mounts as 911firehawk suggested.

My hearty congratulations on your 100K mark! This is the sort of thing I like to hear, rather than the all to frequent bad news about blown engines, RMS, intermix etc. I hope that you did this with the same engine you started out with.

100,000 miles, ie 162,000km, way to go! Agree I think we here way too much about the M96 engine not being good, I do not think that is true. Yes it does have some issues like the RMS and unfortunately some people received the sleeved engine but by far most of us have good engines in some wonderful cars. Here is hoping for another 100,000 miles of happy driving!

ORIGINAL CLUTCH???? Do you drive over 50 miles per hour? Are you a long haul trucker but driving a Porsche? I didn't think you could get 100K out of a clutch....I guess congrats X 2 are in order.

I have tracked my car numerous times, and I have more speeding tickets than I care to admit. The fastest I've gone in the car is 165 mph. I am very smooth with my gear shifts and never 'drop' the clutch though (well, almost never...).
