Default SSK install question

it seems like the kit i got is missing a few items:

- washer x 2 (CC)
- set screw (EE)
- insert x 2 (BB)

is the manual out-dated or do i really need these? about to embark on the project, want to make sure i got all i need.

JKB - yes yo need those items. The washers (CC) and possibly the set screw (EE) should be easy to find, but the inserts (BB) will be more difficult. Where did you buy it? You should contact the seller to get a new shifter kit.

BTW - here is a link to the latest version of the instructions. It really helped to be able to see the photos in color.

These items are usually pre-assembled even though parts list includes them. Look carefully at your parts.

The kit I got in December had the washers as separate items.
