Question Window doesn't Stop

I did the searches and found many topics about the P/Ws not going down all the way. My issue is that when you open the window it won't stop. I hesitates around the 4-5mm position but then continues to travel all the way down. Once down and the door is open the switch won't raise is again. If I shut the door then I can raise it back up. Is there a controller for the P/W's? Ideas?

Thanks
It's a 03 996 Cab.

Can you help the window up or down? Sounds like you need a new regulator. I did this one in my cab by having the door cracked when I put the top up. The top was thinking that the window was down and when it latched all the way, I heard the window "pop" which was basically the teeth being removed from the regulator which makes it go up and down.

Not a difficult swap and not too expensive. Cured my problem.

try un hooking the battery and jumping the cables together for a second, (battery unhooked or out of car) then reinsatll the battery and re program the window by holding it in full up and full down for about 5 seconds in each direction twice
